Hello NamePros community! We are creating a single thread where we can share announcements in, talk about product updates, people can ask questions and host a great discussion on all things domains!
The mistery deepens:
"The Transfer of the following domain has failed
Domain name is: ****
Transfer Fail Reason: Transfer was cancelled or rejected."
Hello All!
We really do want to help everyone on here but are not able to see anything on our end based on your NP username. As we have stated many times in the past, please submit a support ticket if an issue comes up then DM me your ticket number and email address so we I take a look. We will only reply back about specific tickets via DM.
A General xyz update- It looks like we were experiencing an issue transferring in and registering this TLD. This has been resolved.
Do you consider that acceptable, please? We have been having some issues with certain tlds. We are currently looking into this issue.
Your request has been escalated to a Subject Matter Expert within Sav who will take a deeper look into the request. Typically within two business days they will reply back with an update or a resolution to the ticket directly. Thanks for your patience as we work to resolve your request.
@Brandworthy - I have responded back to your DM.
@Nick R 6 days now, and counting. New names are being set to sav.com DNS despite my settings having alternative DNS servers saved. Attempts to update the DNS settings in My Account still do nothing.
I suspect they have no customers other than domainers who can tolerate the bugs in their system. I started using them because they are the cheapest by far for .IO backorders by far, and I was willing to give them a chance. But you are quite right - the inability to provide fundamental features to customers makes it very difficult to justify being a customer. I expect I'm stuck here until renewals come around, although I'll pony up for transfers if I need to.If you don't mind me asking, why are you still with this registrar? I mean the ability to change your dns on the fly is basically a must, it is not some minor bug for couple of hours. This could be critical to the operation of an existing website.
