I haven't used them yet but I noticed they have .com for $5.95 and are icann accredited.

I noticed another member has been registering names with them.

Anyone have feedback about them?

We allow refunds through the AGP, less one business day so we have time to process them.

Regarding the delay in registrations, we did have a small delay in processing names earlier this week. It was quickly caught and orders were processed.

I just mistakenly entered a wrong list to the backorders field for today, and since you don't have any double control submission button, i noticed that only after the list was in. And you don't let remove them for today (and i even couldn't have it done one by one).

I sent you email and tried to call, but there is an answering machine.

Please delete those backorders for me, obviously i don't need those 4,5k names and won't pay for them.

Apologies for being so inattentive, but sure there is still enough time to fix this.

Backorders for domains submitted on the same day they drop are immediately sent to our backordering system to try to capture them right away. Because we want to make every attempt to try to capture them, backorders can be removed any time, aside from the day they are dropping.

well if u allow it by email support anyway, can u put it as option in email link to expediate? should be little coding. since u already send emails etc. ty

I can't add even Visa Platinum with your CC processor...
Also I don't understand: why you ask ZIP code in CC details???

We do plan to enabled PayPal but do not have a timeframe as of now. Currently, you can use the PayPal Debit Card to use your PayPal funds within Sav. Regarding payment issues, please reach out to our support team and we would be happy to get them resolved for you. [email protected]

I do not own PayPal card. I use PayPal with cards issued by my Ukrainian bank.
Looks that your CC gateway has some blacklist of countries... and that's why those cards are not accepted.

I have nothing to add regarding my VISA Platinum... it works everywhere (with all other registrars), except Sav.

Just email [email protected] from the email address on your Sav account and include the last 4 digits of the card you want removed and we can take care of it.

FWIW, I have noticed Sav with some big nameserver changes...

Current nameserver total according to dailychanges = 248,150

I registered my first domains with them on November 2nd (receipt #3XX); as of December 16th (receipt #17XX).

I recently sold a domain registered with them under 60 day transfer lock via Dan. Buyer was able to create account and recieve domain push. Sale completed with no hiccups.

Additionally, they provide instant AUTH codes via their UI.

Negative, is I don't think they don't offer grace delete refunds. I had backordered a typo, and received a exception to policy grace delete refund.

Other than that, Sav has been great. Support has been responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable thus far.

The post you are quoting is from December 19th, 2019, and it was more so my user feedback than a report.

If by report, you're asking what source the screenshot of the daily nameServer changes, that was from:: https://dailychanges.domaintools.com/

To further comment... the daily changes report from domain tools doesn't track the amount of domains registered at a registrar, simply tracks the amount of nameservers using ExampleNameServer, ie sav.com highlighted below::

A little update from then to now:::

At the time of the quouted 2019 post:

--- Sav had 248k reported domains using sav nameservers
--- at time of this post (22 NOV 2022), sav has 452k reported domains using sav nameservers.

--- Nov 2, 2019... Sav was on/around receipt number 3##.
-- -Nov 22, 2022 ... Sav is on/around receipt number 704,9##. ((thats 700k+ individual receipts processed in 3 years))

In the 2019 quoted post, I had mentioned a negative of Sav was their grace delete refunds, however, at present time Sav offers (imo) what I believe is the best grace delete policy in the business.... They provide a button in their UI to easily delete a domain, and if the request is within the TLD grace delete period, a refund is provided. I'm not sure what the limit on this is, as I'm sure there's security measures so this isn't abused.

Re:: Sav support, I've tried to limit my interactions with them due to later forum drama that occurred between @Nick R and I after that 2019 post. My domaining partner mainly deals with their support, and eventually everything works itself out. I still have concerns with Sav, but from a registrar functionalaity stand point, it serves its purpose. We haven't had many issues managing over 1,500 domains with them.
