Have you considered or actually set up a specific domain name based email address for your sales?

I think it is a must do to add a further element of credibility to your email offerings

Yes I have thought of it.

One funny thing you notice is virtually every domain containing the word domain was taken, long ago. Bizarre when you consider the small number of domainers you could sell them to.

Do you think a domain or email would be better with or without the word domain in it?

A lot of people now set up their own sales site to avoid steep commissions.

I was able to get a hotmail/ address with quality and domain name in the title, is hotmail popular in the states > or maybe people are going 'say what'

I've not noticed or perceived any bias against my sales because I sell from a gmail address. About half my inquiries come via my sales website, the other 50% comes from the parking page and whois.

I guess free email services are not good if we have in mind spam filters. At least I read it somewhere here cause never used free emails for this purpose.
In my opinion better is to use your the email created on the domain you own

But it sounds like you are talking about people approaching you, not you approaching them. But yes they would see the email address in the whois before deciding to send/

I think there are certain words the spam filters latch onto but i did not think the actual address would be a problem ?

I typically set up an email account for the name I am selling through so like [email protected]

It does take a little longer but the credibility is there.
