My highest value completed .co domain sale ever. (note I still own just a handfull of .COs) Also there's a weird twist to it.

- Paid $1 for registration and $22 for renewal + sedo fees
- net earning after all fees: $1409

Notes: The weird thing is that this domain was still active in our account for some reason (?) although it has expired since December 2021. So the real hold was almost 2 years. The buyer might have been waiting for it a lot to drop and get exasperated as it didn't... Anyway I've never seen something like this before.

Sedo notified us to renew it, we renewed the domain successfully and pushed.

Takeout: If you have short sweet 2-word .co domains... don't underestimate them and don't sell for pennies. Valid for xyz too and probably for any valuable TLD out there.

Also, in the last 2 months basically all my sales came through Sedo, not Afternic. I know about Namecheap moving to Sedo or something... but still, makes you wonder.

Hold time 9 months, drop reg. (yeah, nobody picked this... so I gladly registered it). Sale price $2600, the amount displayed is net.

Sold via Dynadot BIN.

Inbound sale came via Whois from a broker. Negotiated down from 4K. Then made a listing and immediately was paid.

We have accepted this price as in the end it's cash in bank now for the end of year. With a side note that this domain could have definitely been sold for more if held for longer. But for the moment, this deal is acceptable. I still think it's a great buy as well for them even with likely some broker fees involved as it's a very good name.
