They offered $1,000 and I countered with $2,500. After some back-and-forth, we settled on $2,000. Didn't ask for more since there really was just one potential buyer, and also because I made the mistake of contacting them first (about two years ago).

I don't have many made-up brandables, so I'm quite pleased with the sale.

Congrats on your recent sales. One observation is that a lot of sales for you are on GD Make offer. Do you list all domains on Godaddy marketplace in addition to Afternic? Or do you not use Afternic at all? Or are these offers on Godaddy coming through the Afternic syndication only? Thanks in advance.

Ty..most my sales are on gd.. i list all makeoffr only...and always first on gd... so that specifically they do not go thru afternic.. i rarely had afternic sales in past...so ive not even updated my list there in many months. Hope this helps.

Total cost : $15.98
The domain sold for $750
Minus the marketplace fee of 9% ($67.50), I kept $682.50 which brings a profit of $666.52

The initial offer was $500 but I didn't want to hodl on this one too long so I only countered 750, the buyer paid 2 days after his initial offer

yea sales like his make me regret not being on nj... but then the horror stories I read....give me 2nd thoughts. ..at same time it's true very few people here list nj as purchase venue for their sales.
