Good luck with your sales!

this is the reason i said that hiding purchase price and details would not give any benefit to community.. reporting only sale is just like keeping new comers in dark and make them confuse forever and they will be lost..

As i always mention and many domainers disagree but i would stick with method of retargetting whoever comes to my any names my google analytics save that visitor in pixel and then follow them wherever they go... so technically when someone interested comes to your name and made u offer immediately after seeing your counter offer they will left but then whereever they wll go like youtube yahoo or any news sites they will see my names banners everywhere so when buyer see that banners everywhere they think ad is running and following everywhere means name can be sold anytime and that create urgency in buyer behavior ..

Well done, for those unfamiliar with retargeting https://retargeter.com/what-is-retargeting-and-how-does-it-work/

Thats totally different stuff.. that was leak of users personal data which is not allowed..
in remarketing no data is provided of user instead google analytics save you as user and then whereever you go they will keep reminding you that you have visited this site..

Hey Riz, :D so if someone put an offer in my UNdeveloped and then they dont like my counter and leave, how can I remarket them using Google Analytics if I didn't use Google Ads at first? Is there a method to do this? Would help fantastically for me and everyone if we knew this! Because we can then harass people who made offers subconsciously.

its not good to call it harass.
i would say signup for google analytics get the code and add it in your UD profile then make property in google analytics and afterward create custom audience with GA rules... i made this very short you but you need to do step by step and if you want you can also contact google ad manager to setup this for you :)

may I ask which software or program you are using for "re-marketing" ?
Does this work with "Google Analytics" only or is there an additional software/program you are using in order to implement this ?

Could you please explain (in a separate Forum-thread) of how to technically implement this system in a step-by-step guide ?

Many thanks!

Back to the subject matter of this thread...

We don't normally do any outbound, but on a whim at 10:40 PM last night I sent out emails to two founders of credit card comparison sites that had active paid search ads in google for the exact match keywords in the domain name.

What I said in the emails:

"Hi XXX,

We've put our domain name _________________.com on the market for the first time since 2010. Your company should grab it before another credit card offers site does. For more information, please visit ____________________.com.

Kind regards,"

I priced the domain name fairly at $795 BIN โ€“ it is 21 characters long โ€“ on a Uni Market landing page. I did not have any links to the landing page in the email so it wouldn't look spammy/scammy and they would need to type the domain name into their browser. Note: 2010 was the original registration year of the domain name.

At 8:45 AM this morning, an associate of the founder of one of the sites used the Buy Now button to purchase the domain name.

We paid $39 for the domain name on May 10, 2017 at a drop auction.

Congrats on your sale. This is called retargeting marketing used for sales of products and services. It is good to see you are using it to sell your domain name but you could have added that it is not FREE feature but you pay for it. With pixel installed on your website, whoever visit your website will keep seeing your ads wherever they go... Facebook also offer this service.
