I look everywhere for buying names.. i recently acquired name from twitter...
so we have no limits we need to go everywhere the domains are
i did outbound in beginning of acquisition like always then i went quite i had several offers on this name of over 1k usd but i was firmed at 2799 usd
and its sold now

i guess in most cases u sell for more than u buy ...on flippa...else u would not list there? still looks risky to me to list there...

We thought we'd sell it faster and for more more money, but it took us 8 years to liquidate it.

Time investment: Reached out to 8 companies early january by email, did not get any reply. It took me up to 5 hours of my spare time. I don't believe any of those companies bought the name, but I might know more if this name gets developed.

This is my second .io sale in a few months, after registering around 10 - 15 .io names in september 2018 - december 2018. The other sale was Block // IT // .io for aorund $500. That one seems to be in the process to be developed, which I think is always cool to see I am happy with both sales and happy that the first one might become an actual business.

.io is serving me well. Might be lucky, but I think I will reg 3 to 5 more from this sale and see if I can get a sale every other month. I aim at getting prices from $400 to $ 750 for .io regs.

Great to see patience paid off. From what I read, it is a bit of a disappointing sale for you, but the ROI is still very positive, I believe you made around 10 times your investment, so congrats on that!
