I took a leap of faith and contacted a potential buyer and the deal went waaaaaaaay beyond smooth. I told him a price and he instantly agreed. It was a once in a life time sale.

The renewal price is minimum $25 (Godaddy with DDC subscription). $35 at some registrars.. Not wise for a $1 or $2 purchase.
