A combination of two things: Renewal price for .co is high + I was registering second tier names or names that I might not otherwise register.

I had no plans to renew any of them but the risk/reward ratio seemed sufficient to attempt.

Can you tell us where it was reg'd ? 12 hours from buy to payment is incredible. Every time I make a sale with AN it ends up being more than a week, sometimes several weeks. Maybe moving all domains to one registrar would help ?

Domain registered at Godaddy. It was my first time to receive payment from Afternic in such a short period of time.

It was a bargain imo, I would never drop it. This name would likely sell for around $500 at namejet, possibly even up to $1,000 nowadays.
