The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Everyone will have a different experience. I fluctuate pricing on all names, across the board when I play around.

Ali, are you actively promoting any of the domains you've recently purchased, or waiting for buyers to find them thru Afternic?

I'll likely write about the whole experience once it's all wrapped up.

Please do! Glad to see you back and active on NamePros. With all the darkness in the industry, you really bring positive light to all around...

Can you explain why the sales price is less than the initial offer

My bad. I was in a hurry so I mistyped. It should be initial quote and not initial offer. Initial offer was $100. Good catch :)

After almost a year and a half learning about domains,
struggling, failing, quitting, starting again and etc.
I finally started to make some sales.

A big THANKS to the whole Namepros community,
it's amazing how most of people here are really helpfull and kind.
It proves that even though sales business can be a dog-eat-dog world,
the NP community is certainly not a place like that.
Cheers!

Just switched a few hundred non-liquid handregs from "Make Offer" to mid-high $xxx BIN a week ago, will post my experience/sales as they come.

One sold so far a couple days ago, small sale but I'm going to see if they add up, and how quickly they sell at this price.

DollarChaser (dotcom) $388 BIN via SedoMLS (I think it was purchased through registration path @ Register.com) because the name wasn't parked with Sedo but transferred through Sedo to Register.com

$4.99 handreg (ewallhost promo)

Posted about this name in the "Your Reg. Of The Day" thread a couple months ago:

https://www.namepros.com/threads/your-reg-of-the-day.528260/page-879#post-6078592

I'll always feel I'm leaving money on the table this way but one in the hand > 2 in the bush.

No, I don't include my asking price in the first email. Everything was done through email.

That was pretty quick. How did you find him?
