The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

in 90% of domain sales I receive funds first, transfer after. Buyer is creating account as we speak.
how do you get them to send you money first? how do you make them trust you enough to send you the money first before you transfer, considering they have never met you?

From my experience, a professional email address/website/landing page and being very professional in your dealings with an end user goes a long way toward them trusting you.

We explain the purchase-transfer system and walk the client through the entire process.

Do you handle all of this through email or usually on the phone?

Through afternic brokerage. Buyer initially offered just $150, broker got them up to $800. I was asking $1000.

Another small LLL.online sale to report. Sold cheap as the buyer is starting a new business and has a limited budget. Inbound email inquiry; deal completed quickly via PayPal.

q*o.online $300

Paid $1.17 to register it in February (leaving me with ~256X profit).

Just completed the sale of GoodFoot.ca to GoodFootDelivery.com.

Sold for $414 CAD (or approx. $300 USD).

I planned on holding out for more, but I picked up the name just last month and I was happy to make a quick sale with good ROI.

Cheers! :)

Outbound?

Yup, outbound.

They didn't respond at first, so I followed up, and they explained that they thought it might be a scam. lol.

I quoted low $xxxx, they countered $xxx, I countered high $xxx, they maintained $xxx, I said "screw it" and accepted. :-P

Cult (dotTECH) - $250

Inbound inquiry via Unireg lander.
No offer given with inquiry and no email confirmation (usually means unmotivated buyer) so I quoted a $250 price to make sure it would move and it did.

$1 handreg 10 months ago.
