Sold P/A/C/T/E/L ./c/o/m for $2300

at GD Auctions after acquiring it for $1000 at GD (drop) about 10 months ago. It was clear to me at that time that strategically advertised auction of this domain name will drive the price above $2000, so I've emailed a few potential buyers and let them now it's for sale on public auction.

Hard to see outbound emails of such price.

How many endusers did you contact and how many replied?

One outbound eMail, one response. Like I said, someone started using a similar name with a terrible domain so it was an easy sale. Plus this isn't my first rodeo, so negotiating a $x,xxx price isn't 'hard to see'.

I could have gotten the full asking price, or closer to it, with a little more patience but it was renewal season for me so I happily renewed my portfolio with a quick sale.

Yep. It could have been sold for at least 10K or more with patience and right marketing. Way too much left on the table.

sold advantage.xyz on 28.10.15 thru uniregistry.
I thought the sale should be "confidential", now the sale appeared on uniregistry sales report.
I registered the domain for $1.88 on 24.8.15 and within 1 month, I could sell the name for $3500 thru dns. Locking period delayed transfer of the domain to buyer's account.
