Registered what I now consider a bad domain, CafeSingapore dot com in January.
I set a bunch of my worse domains to $75 BIN on Uniregistry and this one sold within the next couple days to someone from im dot sg.
But I recently took all my domains off there since I realized the buyer can see the creation date of the domain and some other things. Of course, they could do a whois lookup, but I'm not sure many people bother.

It was an Uniregistry BIN landing page? What was their commission? How could a buyer see your reg date from there?

Oh you're probably right about it not mattering for BIN ones since they just click and pay. I've only tested it with "price quote" domains where the buyer has to sign up and then when they log in, they can see this info. Most of my other domains I'd like to keep as make offer / price quote.

They made the buyer pay about 8 dollars extra and took about 8 dollars from me.. heh. So 10%.. I read a thread here that said the commission for BIN is 10% but here it says 15%:
https://uniregistry.com/market-fees-rules

Also, I cannot get the money out now because I didn't know the minimum payout is 100 for paypal (250 for wire) ...and that's the only sale I've made with them. I guess I will put it in the Uniregistry account balance and reg some names there.

May be one of the factors.I had 3 enquiries on 3 different domains, which I set up as Offers and BIN .When I saw the landing page,it doesnt show the BUY NOW price, just asks you to quote the price, making it impossible to make a simple check out.And I havent heard back from any of the enquirers, even after sending out multiple follow up emails(with reasonable gaps between them). So assigned all the enquiries to the broker and Now experimenting with simple plain BIN.

If all domainers would rise the prices of the new gTLDs, the sales would be at the desired level.

Sold R e t i r e W i r e (.) com for $1300 @ Afternic.

It was a BIN listing, and it sold at listed price. I picked it up two months ago on the drop for $14. I liked it because the two words rhyme, and I thought it would be a good name for a retirement blog/news/tips site (and the buyer has already launched that kind of site on the domain).

Some point I thought that adding 8-s to the price would bring more Chinese buyers, maybe its so, but latest sales are not to Chinese.
You can take it as some kind clue, if in some sales reports you see $5988, you can think its my sale :) I can`t post all sales here.
