Congrats . great sale .

i hope you are not from CHINA . Then how did you buy such names? Are you confident that these will sell ?

No, I'm American.

I just study namebio every day and try to look for patterns and trends that others are missing on English/Western marketplaces, hoping to catch something nobody else is looking for. Last spring I saw domains with PJ, XPJ, HG, TYC, JS at the start selling for hundreds and I could buy them on American marketplaces for $20. Now they are all bought out in many extensions...but there are many other opportunities if you look for them!

Just sold H/G/9/9/0/8/8 dot com on 4.cn for $500 via make offer.

My first sale with 4.cn. The domain was parked there.

I had the currency set to USD and got an offer for $3000. WHOA. It was followed up by a message in chinese. I hit accept. YES!

Then I translated the chinese.

It was from the buyer saying he thought he was making the offer in yuan.

Oops.

I messaged the 4.cn broker and asked if she could reach out to the buyer and ask if he would do $500 even. He accepted. Their broker (Cathy) was super helpful communicating with me both on their message system and email (which COULD get messy...i get why a site would want to keep all of their correspondences on site).

I had other offers to sell this domain in lots to Americans and luckily all of those fell through (including here on namepros and via outreach).

Congratulations on the sale!!!

How did you get paid? Can you set PayPal as the payment option on 4.cn?

I too listed my domain on 4.cn (ss8588.com) after reading Namebio; however, removed it because wasn't sure if I was listing correctly. I may put it back after reading Beezy's post.

Just sold a NNL.com (3 / 3 / Y dot com) for $5700 on Sedo auction (received $4845 after fees).. Just bought it one week ago on November 24 for $1096 (1064+%3 express payment fee http://namebio.com/?s=wN0kjN5UjM).

In here, NamePros, when I want $3500 they said too much for this domain, lol. This is just a luck buy/sell :)

Good luck with your sales all.
