This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Thanks for the question. However, for this particular name I would prefer not to disclose that information. Having said that, I generally sell names within the first week of registration. And in some cases on the same day of registration. For example, the following names, which I have already reported here, were sold within one or a few days after registration:

All .COM

MiamiPhotographyStudio
Date bought: 5/14/2015 Date sold: 5/14/2015

BostonAerialPhotography
Date bought: 2/26/2015 Date sold: 3/1/2015

WeddingLinenRental
Date bought: 6/1/2015 Date sold: 6/4/2015

BusinessFuelCard
Date bought: 6/10/2015 Date sold: 6/10/2015

The reason for this is that I discovered at some point that age is irrelevant for most end-users.
Value over age

Interesting one I thought I'd share...

JlNX.site for $1000 USD

Inbound inquiry via email, asked me if it was for sale, I requested offer, their initial: $200, negotiated to $1K, sold. Completed via escrow. Claimed to want it for vanity project. Nice buyer.

Checked DNpric.es and NameBio, this is officially the highest publicly reported .site sale
Only 2 others in low $xxx range, and a few for $xx through auctions

$0.99 handreg on GD a few months ago.

Thanks!
They paid 10k Euro for .it not long ago.
They offered same price for .com, and Italians prefer to use .it than .com, I countered to $15k and closed the deal.

$1,500

I had handregged this for myself for a coupon site..and didn't even know it was still listed for sale on Godaddy premium.. Hope it's used well; that would be good for my portfolio.

When you are in domaining for long, you are automatically filtering domains you hand reg on various grounds, without you even trying for it.I can see why someone bid on it.Brandable,as well as delivers the message

I agree that it's uniquely brandable and has a clear message. Which is why i would have developed it myself.
