Really - very impressive. I hope the person who let it expire is not from the NP lol

Since your making the big bucks on domaining, perhaps you could be so kind to send some of that extra money my way. I do have a tad bit of credit card debt. ;)

Sipx.com $14,760

Excelent!
Thats what i call a great ROI.
Now reinvest the money in another 50 x 300$ domains and make a million.

R**o**m**b**u dot com (minus all the ***) - $200. I bought it on the Godaddy closeouts for $13 including renewal.

Probably could've gotten much more but rather take the money to reinvest than wait a couple of months or years to make a sale.

Congrats! Your way of thinking was right. More money in the bank will allow for more money to be re-invested now, rather than later. :$: The snowball effect works wonders.

Regarding the sale, the offer came through Sedo. We negotiated for over a month. Initial offer was in Mid July for $3,000. We negotiated some more-went very slow. Their final offer was made at the end of August for $14,760. I accepted.

Wow...
So you just put that name on Sedo... doing nothing... and then, an offer comes to you...
Very nice! :)

By the way...
I wonder why you choose not to bring it into an auction?

I don't think it will bring higher offer than what he got.
Plus, buyer may get pissed.

Seo****Milwauk***ee dot net(reg-fee) - $75 (minus all the ***)

Nothing to brag about, but a sale is a sale. I have a few other sales pending that I will disclose as soon as I wrap them up.

Good job I recently turned down a $50 sale. I started college this week and lost access to my email so haven't sold any but am trying to go 3 figures at least per name .

I agree it is important to have fast turnaround in some cases ...

The most important part is registering quality domains (or purchasing them.)

I've sold a name for $1k and one for $2k .

I've also sold a few for a combined less than $1k.

They were still good sales but if I can come across quality names ... 1 flip at $1k is better than 10 at $100 each !

Good luck to you all!

I feel your pain. It's not that easy to make sales unless you're Federer or a magician ;), which are basically the same.

Today, an end-user that was interested in one of my other seo domains offered me mid xx and when I told him it was too low, he asked me how much I paid for the domain and said what I do is unethical(buy domains to resell them).

Buying something to resell later with profit is unethical lol

Ask him if he also tells this BS when he buys a used car from a car dealer. "How much did you paid for that car? give me the same price or you are unethical"

Plus, if the name was a SEO name, then the "enduser" is probably a SEO himself and knows about the advantages of keyword domains and the domain market at least a little bit.

A mid xx sale? I would write him an email and tell him that after his accusations, the price just increased from 50 to 500 dollars for him (and only for him, others can still buy it for 50)

I knew who I was dealing with. He didn't need this domain. If you think you can get more for these types of domains I will sell you all my other ones at $50 a piece. Just because someone has money doesn't mean he's going to pay a fortune for a domain.

I've started at mid to high xxx for these types of domains and waited months to a year to sell with no luck. I'd rather flip it than renew it, but if you feel that you can get more my offer stands.

You should have done a bit more research on this guy http://www.scottofford.com/ :)
