The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Same here... I've bought plenty of new domains since my last sale, but I don't do any development. Maybe I should start learning how to develop websites.

pretty easy! grab wordpress platform, premium free theme and hire a content writer to do some good articles and you are good to go with a seo guy to get it to rank well :)

Yes I emailed him, but couple of month ago and he came back only now :)

Did you get your lead from the Twitter, btw?

To develop sites is one thing and to make good money from them is another.

The majority of mini-sites you see here would hardly make any money consistently or anything to write home about. But this does not mean you should not have a go at it - in fact I believe all domainers should be able to develop at least some sites for themselves.

On the plus side, if you manage to develop a good business model for building sites and monetizing them then you could rinse & repeat which could then make the whole process a lot more rewarding.

So he must have known a bit about domains as he checked out Sedo's auction or did you give him the link?

No, it's just because most of my domains are redirected to sedo offer page - so if the person would put the name in a browser he will go to sedo.

I thought if you sell through Sedo, you have to give some percentage of your sale price to sedo. Why would you prefer sedo over direct selling?

Recruiting from people on Social Securities would have been more appropriate but I guess that choice can be performed as well.

It is already a popular term and several companies are trying to rank for it.

I don't see the doubt or confusion.

It's as simple as finding end users for already in development keywords as opposed to Brandable domains where you are betting on someone in the future to buy your domain .

Keyword domains like the ones we sell are SEO props to companies who already are spending on SEO and want to make the most of their budget. Also there's only one .com per keyword meaning they can't go elsewhere for the same "product" . You are the only owner ai they must buy from you !

Anyone who says you can't make money flipping reg fees is wrong.

You've got to have a brain though !

Very nice man! You are on a roll. I've been getting a couple of "how much?" replies but can't close any deals as of late. Are you pricing the domains in your initial pitch or on the "how much?" reply?

Thank you !

I am on a roll and I love it ... It's just quality names selling at fair prices...

Sometimes I do only get how much but I follow up every 24 hours with reminders...

Sometimes I'll put a price of like a little more than I want for it so they will meet me at the price I want if they submit a lower offer. You've just got to establish a feel for it as every end user is differelottery a lot are similar.

Good luck to you all!

I might make more money domaining this month than my mom makes at her job at the bank ...

( I am 18...)

Thanks for sharing. I may have a sale to report soon(still negotiating). I went on a similar streak about a month or two ago where I sold 1-2 domains a week. I had a beard at the time so I am going to grow my beard again for some good luck!! :sold:
