The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

/F/i/l/m/s/t/r/i/p/e/./c/o/m/
Sold at Sedo for $185 BIN
Hand Reg.
Hold time: 59 days

It was rejected on multiple brandable marketplaces. I thought it is a nice play on word /f/i/l/m/s/t/r/i/p/ and would make a decent brandable for professional photography, film production, smartphone app or camera products niches. But apparently these marketplaces weren't amused by my clever take on the word :xf.laugh:.

What reasons motivated you to buy this domain? Did you, buying it, have in mind a potential buyer? What was the target group?

I was actually working with a crypto-currency startup, handling their blockchain server deployments, which led me to think that BlockChain-as-a-Service might be a good project for me to embark on. Since, everyone within the ages of 18-34 was starting their own cryptocurrency.

They saved me a lot of work by just purchasing the domain. This is the first time I am glad to deal with GoDaddy.

Google turned up Business Continuity as a Service.

Surprisingly, Blockchain as a Service is abbreviated as BaaS.

Hold time?

Think 4 years. This was thre first time I tried selling the domain to an end user (tried auction before), buyer responded within 10 min and asked how much. I sent him link to Uniregistry where I had the domain listed with a BIN of $1488 and he purchased it immediately.

Further confirmation that I had no business owning such a name. Happy to pass it along to someone who abbreviates better than I.

Reported this in the augmented reality thread but thought I should share here as well:

Fashion AR (.com)

Sold for $5,000 through Efty Lander

Sale date: 25.07.2018

Accepted first offer, maybe should of countered

Gone to be a end user who is working on an augmented reality product.

We split fee's through escrow.

Think I paid about $15 for the domain in GoDaddy expired auctions just over a year ago.
