This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Some recent sales of names I have held for awhile.
All .com's mostly BINs

Many would say sold for low, I would too, but I also believe whatever the name sells for is the right price for it.

Congratulations :)

btw, what exactly is PUR?

I know what you mean but I was content with the price. I look at traffic and other metrics. CHIP market is down and it was not CVCV. :)

They have to click a link for more info, then the pur page opens. "Get a price in less than 24hrs!"

You can check out [hidojo[dot]com] to see an example.

This is simply the Afternic/GD lander that was discussed a number of months ago...
I think the concept is good but would be REALLY great if they had a lander with BIN pricing as impulse buys work so well...

How much of your portfolio are you using these landers with?

Less and less because I keep getting price requests and adding prices. I need to think about how long to leave them before I change them back. :)

Probably 300 names like that.

Biggest sale since I started domaining :)

Domain: L / E / N / D / F / U / L (in king)
Sales Price: $6000
Purchase Price: $183 + 3 renewals
Commission: 1200
Profit: $4586
Sales Platform: Sedo MLS
Hold Time: 4 years

Had immediate interest after acquiring this domain including the previous owner wanting to buy it back. The offers ranged between $2000-$5000 over the years but went cold in the last 2 years and since I needed the cash I set a BIN of $6000.
