Looks like there have been some great sales recently and quite a few from Sedo! @dpan and @RevolutionaryDomains and @beezy

Did those sales come out of the blue or had you spoken with the new owners before the names were bought?

I want to report this sale because if there wasnt namepros forum and if nebulalive (thanks, man) didnt make his big data thread, this sale would never happened.

I actually learned about big data from this thread and started many projects around it.

so thanks.

american big data - com version
sold for $3K

buyer found me through whois. he came with $65 offer,my reply - 3K - sale.

I know that such domain names will sell higher in the future, and I had plans for this domain, but i decided to make the deal and i am happy with it.

great name, great buyer, great deal.

Crazy nice sale for that big data name.
Hmmm... I just let BigDataCanada dot com expire a few days ago, didn't know there were any big data domain sales making it worthwhile to keep. Now I have to decide whether to rescue and renew it, or let it keep expiring... thanks for the dilemma!!

Congrats on the sale :)

Congrats mate. I remember critics and pessimist telling you how crappy that domain look when they compared it Nebulive's Big data America.

I hope the pessimist see that the crappy name is = $3k.

Big Data domains will catch up in sales and I believe this is the 4th or 5th sale reported in this niche so far here on namepros.

Once again, congrats.
