I sold the name this week Inbound, via Afternic Fast Transfer network (name was registered at Dynadot, with a lander at Afternic so 15% commission, also listed elsewhere). Very efficient transaction – I was paid within 48 hr of notice of sale.

The name has been registered since 2008, but I have only owned it for the past few years (won in NameLiquidate auction). I had planned to keep it until sold, and had the domain renewed until 2028 (I seem to sell names I have renewed well in advance, probably not a coincidence).

It is actually my first .net sale ever (I only have 10 .net). Ironically, later this week I sold another .net wholesale for a small amount (so will not be reporting here).

The name was put into redirection use by the new owners within two days of the sale. They have an existing business on a country code of the same name.

My thinking in acquiring the name was it could be used by a restaurant/bakery/cafe etc., but also we talk of 'baking' ideas, projects, code etc. so possibly it could be used metaphorically for consulting, creative agency, etc. But it was used in traditional sense by new owners.
