Hey All, I would like some guidance as to registrars..

I've put several domains up for auction, some of which I consider very attractive and can offer good opportunities (See in my sig).

One question I have is, are some people put off by certain registrars? I always use xsisdomains.com, purely for the fact that the guy who owns that is also the host for a few of my websites..

Do people see this as a downfall because it means an external transfer fee?

Any thoughts?

Kind Regards,

Ashley.

I would definately say that having a domain with an unknown registrar is many times considered deterimental because people do not like to have the domain with the reigstrar which they have heard off .
i personally have had some sales which did not go through because the person doubted the registrar interface might not please him :)

therefore if u are planning to reseller domains then i would recommend them to be at known places like Godaddy, MOniker, Domainsite, etc.

I have to agree with that, if the domain isn't something extremely good or irreplaceable then having it with wrong registrar might cost you a sale.

Whatsup Ashley? This is n0x, or Tyler :D. I would never buy a domain from XSIS domains, purely because of the fact that it may ruin a sale. I would always go with namecheap, or some known registrar.
