Anyone has experience with RegisterDub?
I registered my first domain with them about 2 days ago and the domain is still not registered. I have open a support ticket that day as well. But still no response yet. Anyone know how long it takes for them to reply?

when I submitted support to them, I never got replies either. I emailed to someone here, got the problem solved but still never received any replies.

PM Inod here. RegDub is his operation and he's always been prompt at resolving any issues I've encountered.

From what I have heard is Regdub has been sold to Christian Kamau.

He bought out it out and is rebuilding the service from ground up to fix all the issues.

I also hear he is going to end the sale prices on the Mobi's.

So grab your Mobis now before they go up.

I believe as of January 15th, new ownership/management has taken over at RegisterDub, IMHO. :gl:

And, my recent second .MOBI registration of the other day was $20 (for two years)! :'(
My first .MOBI of two months ago ... was $18.50.

Just my personal experience.

this kind business must be very tough. Very small margin a lot of support issues.

Christian has adjusted it based on what he feels will provide enough revenue to support the costs with the increasing amount of domains being registered. The amount of domains registered daily is growing quiet heavily and we would like to see new features and a fixed up member area so we need to increase abit in order to continue providing the service you always known best.

I would like to know this too.... or at least an official position. Originally I joined registerdub because it was owned by a NP's member and price was a good plus. I have no problem with the price increase but would like a stamp of approval or an omission of association. Something to base my future membership on.

I've had good service in the past. I like registerdub.com. I support iNod (Steve) and his opinion on our future use of RegisterDub.com. Is that a position you can take iNod (Steve)?

The homepage says it is in fact under "new management" So Inod sold would be my guess.

For now I still work with them as a support tech so any questions about support you may contact me. However Christian wishes to take over most of the stuff, however I still do 90% of the stuff.. If that makes any sense.

The entire reason i used them in the first place was because INOD was a owner and NP memebr. I may consider transfering my names off with the new price increase and change of ownership.

Problems with Registerdub

I bought a domain from a member that was not able to provide the auth code. To be nice I agreed to create an account at registerdub and have the domain pushed to me there.

Then I later discovered that I cannot change the registration information, or do much else with the domain. Several emails and a helpdesk ticket were not answered. It has now been two weeks and I have contacted the seller of the domain, and also inod and used the gmail address that are listed above. I am hoping that I can finally get some support from them.

If they have so many support issues that they cannot respond in a reasonable time, they need to find a solution fast, or not only will they lose business, but they will also lose any new business, since people like me will tell their stories.

I'm not too mad right now, but if this goes on for another week, I will be. I hope I can return and post that things have been set right with this.

Later: I have now been in contact with Inod and Christian (the new owner), and I am satisfied they are not rip-offs and are working to take care of things. I have told them I can wait a couple of days, and if you can as well, please consider doing that so others with more serious problems can get attention first.

Contact information except for a few members should now be fixed. You can edit it after you have created a Profile in your account and than you can edit it and assign that profile to your domain. This can be only done by 1 atm. If you need massive changing please submit a ticket with your Profile info and the domain list you wish to have changed.

For those members who still experience that "Error setting/getting contact info" please PM me or submit a ticket and I will fix up your account with the new change.

Currently the push to another account process does not actually Move the service.. instead it just pushes it on your account on RegisterDub and does not change contact information. If you are pushing to another account please contact me and I will make sure all goes through. When I get abit more time on my hands I will fix this issue..
