Hello.

Does anyone know a better way to reach iNod and/or RegisterDub? He mentioned in a recent thread that although he sold the biz, he's still helping with RegisterDub support issues, but for some reason he must not be getting my PMs as I've sent three and heard nothing back.

Unfortunately, RegisterDub doesn't seem to be getting support emails either as I've had an open support ticket since January 22nd, sent emails, and they too are going unanswered.

Must be a glitch, as I've always heard good things about both iNod and R.D. so if anyone can tell me how to reach them I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

There was a similar issue elsewhere on this forum. I did notice he was quick to respond to it. My Guess is he'll be chiming into this post shortly.

I hope so. It's just a WHOIS update/correction issue, so it should be pretty easy to remedy.

I have sent a few PM's too and not heard back. One of the domains I registered failed so I went to godaddy and registered it there, I am waiting for a credit for that domain. He must be busy, hopefully he'll respond to us soon.

I am having problems with RegisterDub too. I sent iNod a PM but no response. Does anyone know whether it's free to transfer my domains to whiz.in?

Kerrijo,

Using the new WHOIS info for R.D., I emailed Christian directly. He responded with the following, which I don't think he'd mind my posting:

"Hello,

I am taking a look at this problem. I will have to have the tech's look at this thoroughly as it's come to my attention that this problem is coming up frequently.

I will contact you as soon as possible, once I get to the bottom of this.

Thank you."

Time will tell, I guess. I haven't posted anything regarding this on any other forum, so I have no idea if others are having problems also.

From what I read in other posts, iNod was making the ownership transfer on or about the 15th of January. I've purchased web-based companies before, and I know that things don't always go smoothly when switching servers, support software, etc. HOWEVER, I also know that the best way to smooth out the transition is communication. Customers usually just want to know what's going on. Simple as that.

I'd rather have someone tell me that they're struggling with technical issues, than maintain "radio-silence" and leave me to imagine the worst. Of course, that's :imho: only.

Ah thank you TcDa! Maybe the new owner can sign up here at Namepros with an account, I think a lot of Registerdub's customers come from here among other message boards.

I just found this thread after posting here.

I sent a PM to inod and he replied that he would look into my problem. I'll try to update both threads with my results. I'm going to offer to help them if they are interested...

Later: I have now been in contact with Inod and Christian (the new owner), and I am satisfied they are not rip-offs and are working to take care of things. I have told them I can wait a couple of days, and if you can as well, please consider doing that so others with more serious problems can get attention first.
