Reciprocal links among affiliates

Hi,

As far as I know if two website places links of each other then Google doesn't count it.
For example
Website A has placed a link of Website B on home page
and
Website B has placed a link of Website A on home page

In this case net result will be 0 and Google won't give weightage.

So I want to know if there are some techniques that two or more websites place links of each other and still get noticed by Google. Are there some tricks and tips available?

Humm.... it is not that simple.

What if one website has Higher PR then the other.

One website is older then other.

One website has more links then other.

One website has different keywords in URL itself.

All this stuff will also be taken into account.

Why not just get one way links ?

as long as you're not reciprocating dozens of unrelated links you should be fine.

as for pagerank flow, it depends on many factors like whether one site has a higher pagerank, age, content/niche, etc as nick mentioned above.

I guess that goog le see them as different links. Right?
