I have recently been made an offer for teleconnect.mobi

I am trying to figure out who the possible buyer would be. Any ideas, and any reccomendations for final prices?


Potential buyer saw my listing on Sedo for a "DOT MOBI"-

Where did you get the offer?, here, Sedo, Afternic, email etc? That info could start you in the right direction.

You don't think maybe, just maybe, the O.P. was being "cute"? Obviously, they know how to spell it. Or maybe it was a slip of the keyboard. Whatever the case, your post is a perfect example of someone just looking for any little crack in the armament.

I have yet to see any misspelling of ".mobi" in thousands of posts and writeups about it, until this thread title. A single typo by one person is hardly a good argument for why they shouldn't have chosen ".mobi" as the extension.

I received the offer thru sedo.

No way to know who the bidder is. As for value, it is a pretty decent name with mobile relevance. I wouldn't want to part with it for less than $x,xxx

I wonder how many .con 's get mistakenly typed in daily? Is this because if ignorance or a simple human error?

As for DNJ, it will be interesting to see what mobi looks like there in the next month or so...

.com gets typo'd all the time, .xom .cm and so on.

in fact, it's so lucrative just check out any domain with .cm on the end to see where it gets you.

what price were you offered for this .mobi? $1,000 or higher would be a decent price. hard to tell who the potential buyer would be, may be an end user or reseller, you wouldn't know til after. good luck.

I mistyped. .mobi
It was a mistake, a typo, all apologies for those who were confused.

No offers were made using the sedo bidding, but the buyer contacted me after seeing my domain on sedo.

I did not make myself very hard to find.

How did they contact you? If by e-mail, did you try typing this person's e-mail address into a search engine?
