Question regarding selling names on eBay

Hey all, I'm trying to create a listing for a domain name on eBay (I've never sold anything on there before) and I'm not sure what I should put in the 'shipping details' section. It won't let me create the listing without choosing something from the drop down but there is nothing really that qualifies. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Isn't there a "free shipping" option?

Isn't there a "free shipping" option?

Yea there is a checkbox for 'free shipping' but even if I select it, it still asks me to select a shipping service :-/

select no shipping, local pickup only

The thing with local pickup is that it isn't available under 'worldwide shipping'. Not even sure if that matters though.
Anyways, I just found an old thread here on NP where it is suggested to set shipping to 'Economy' and price to $0.00. I am able to select this under worldwide as well, so I'm gonna give it a try.

For those interested here's the link,

Thanks for the help guys :)

Put free expedited shipping.

I have domains on there now and you just select local pickup and it will make it $0 shipping when you do an invoice.

Thanks, I listed 2 domains earlier :) Do you have any tips for selling on eBay? Like what type of names and what sort of price range sell best?

To see what sells, check the sold listings. Don't go by the completed listings or what's on there now. There are over 14,000 domain names for sale on eBay at any given time. Of those, maybe 20 sell each day, some for just a few dollars. But, reviewing the sold listings helps to narrow down what sells. Sometimes there are valuable names listed with unrealistic prices. These would likely sell if the seller really wanted to sell.

Way more then 20 sell per day. True there are some that are just ridiculous in both name and price but you can get some nice names for cheap and others at a fair price. Just got to weed out the junk

Just put expedite Free. Then they know you will transfer it fast to them. They should no that there is no shipping involved. Hopefully. lol

I sold one on ebay today for $250 after back and forth best offer for it with one person.

I counted 34 sold on Saturday, 29 sold on Sunday, and 28 sold today. I bought one and sold one on Sunday.
It's definitely an option, but yeah, lot's of junk and overpriced names. I like the control over the auction and the exposure to endusers. The overpriced names just make mine look that much better in contrast. :D
