I've never listed a domain at ebay.
Yesterday I was using terapeak searching for data market for a project I'm working and I was curious about domain market at ebay.

Do not really know if this data is 100% reliable. Don't know, for example, why there are shipping costs.
The data is for the last 90 days.

Conclusions?

I've listed some domains on Ebay for the first time ever this week...and I've got watchers on domains listed for $100+ that wouldnt even fetch $2 at auction on here. BUT my current approach is to bank a few names that a think could be worth $**** and focus on flipping hand reg domains for $20 - $100 on ebay. I'll see how it goes but thanks for the figures, very interesting!

I look at ebay domains all the time.
Have yet to actually win any 4 letter .com I have bid on.
Usually I lose by 50 lousy cents!
I blame snipers!
hahahahhaha

But seriously, I used to sell domains there years back and did darn good.
Should get some listed next time I get an ebay email saying free listing for today.

Yes, I notice domains on ebay sell for good prices that here and other forums every one laughs at and won't buy for a buck!

I'm surprised by this! I find ebay to be a great place to find bargains that would sell for more on here and flippa.

I’ve never actually sold domains on ebay but I’ve been told it was pretty good back in the day.

Every now and then I’ll search for domains on there and I’ll come across a great domain worth grabbing but what I’ve realized is there’s also A LOT of useless domains you have to filter through in order to find the good ones.

So if you have the time you can find a gem but beware that it’ll cost you your time.

How does the transfer procedure work on Ebay? Is it simply sell it, get paid, then transfer it to them upon receipt of good funds?

Same as here, there and everywhere.
You sell the domain, upon payment you move to their account.

I was going full throttle on selling lower end domains in ebay. I wished it was better but it is so much a hit and miss. I may go back to it soon but not as hard as I was. It can work out but the buyers can be just as bad as some newbies on this forum if you can belive that!
