I have several domain names selling on eBay currently, and have had 2 watchers on one of them, as it's fixed price listing, I was just curious why they don't just click, or if the price is too high for them, at least write to me??

I don't really like selling on eBay because it has very tough rules with regards to marketing and promotion of your sales. You cannot e-mail prospective buyers to advertise your sale (not without their explicit content), for instance, which makes it rather tough to promote your sale in the first place.
Most 'watchers' you get are just that -- WATCHERS, not buyers. Most watchers do so just to keep informed of what domains are selling for. They have no interest in buying -- they just want to keep a pulse on the market.MichBoy said:I have several domain names selling on eBay currently, and have had 2 watchers on one of them, as it's fixed price listing, I was just curious why they don't just click, or if the price is too high for them, at least write to me??![]()

1) Fixed price listing are for stores !
2) The normal promotion (forums, cold mailing, etc..)
3) Look out for a category that fits the domain name topic (not domain names) and list it there.
E.g. antique watches.ext list it in "domain names" and in "antiques-watches" as another category.
Remember you want to get the end users.
4) Some nice ticky promotion are Google AdWords.
Most of the time the keywords for your domain topic may result surprisingly cheap.
So concidder to spend a 20$ on "antique watches" or "antique watch store" or simillar. And forward it to your auction. (domain should be worth more than 75$ though)
5) Set your auction and to 19.00h in the country that fits best the domain tpoic.
