I bought an LLLL.com by Snapnames Backorder 1 year ago and the time for renewal has come. I want to transfer it to Moniker so i look up the password that i received by email, but the registrar "Domus.com" only provided a link that will generate a new password... Sure why not? BUT the links does not resolve and their homepage is very simple looking and crude.

They have a link where you are supposed to type your domain name and click "Start Password Generation Process" But this only gave me a error message: "Password generation failed due to technical problems. Please try again later."

When i click on "Contact Us" The link does not work!

I fear that Domus.com have gone into Bankruptcy or something :|

Their renewal fee is $40 so i'm not very keen on renewing this domain with them, it expired on Feb 05 so i may not be able to transfer it. They did not bother to send a renewal reminder either!

Does anybody have any experience with Domus.com?

I have mailed to the manager e-mail adress found at the WHOIS info for Domus.com

If I'm not mistaken, you can access domains sold through snapnames on manage.snapnames.com. (or something like that).

I suggest getting in touch with snapnames to get the exact URL.

Also, if you kept your original email from snapnames, you should have the right link.

The Snapnames email dit not contain a password only link to the registrar. In a seperate mail from Domus i got a link to their site where you have to type your domain in order to get password.

I just got back a "Mail delivery failed" from these Domus.com e-mail addresses:

[email protected]
[email protected]

It does not look promising >:( I will have to contact Snapnames to see what they can do to help me.

Thanks for your response Ms Domainer

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Snapnames should be able to help you.

I wish these aftermarket places would allow you to move your domains to the registrars you want and not send your property to their failing "partners."
