They are supposed to be directed toward Professional Service's - Eg :

Attorney(s) / Doctor(s) / etc ....

I'd hope they actually check to see if registrant holds a professional license ~ and I think the high reg fees are supposed to keep Squatters away ....

The only one's I've noticed (Not that I'd ever reg one) under 300-350 $ is where they are 2nd / 3rd Level (Sub-Domains)
