.tv Premium .tv Domains allowed at TRAFFIC??

Hey all. I was considering offering some of my premium .tv domains for the next TRAFFIC auction, but I wasn't sure if they accept premium names.

If the name wins in an auction they require that it's transferred to Moniker first before payment can be received. But this is impossible with premiums. Anyone know what the deal is here?? Should I even bother? I emailed them but have yet to hear back.

I also wanted to buy some strong premium names and then flip them at the next TRAFFIC show...

Can anyone clarify this for us, if you were to have a "premium" name in TRAFFIC, their terms state you have to transfer to MONIKER to collect payment. One problem you cant transfer premiums to moniker....

The adult auction closes next week (6/15 - InternetExpo). But, more importantly, since NY is closed I'm wondering if any premium domains were approved.

I have one .tv premium that has been accepted in the NY Traffic auction, Taboo.tv and as far as I know there are no issues. I would think Moniker could open an account at enom.tv whereby you can push the domain into there account and then they push into the buyers enom.tv account.

Auction selection in the process, I guess you're too late for NYC. Maybe in Florida thic coming October.

Moniker wants your domain in their own registrar.

Great advertisement, however that still does not answer the questions regarding premium .tv names in Moniker Auctions and how they will be handled as they are supposed to stay at enom.com.

Monte (CEO of Moniker) wrote me back with this:

"All names are considered for auctions. Acceptance is based on quality, reserve price, presence, value, etc. Contact sales for more info."

I think what Don included (in his second link) are all the domains in the NY auction including any COMMENTS associated with those names. What's interesting is that the premium renewal prices aren't mentioned. I don't want to call attention to these (they're less than $500 anyway so no big deal), but I'd hate for the buyer to be kept in the dark and then refuse to pay the winning price when they find out otherwise.

I think this was the case with med.tv. The buyer won the sedo auction and never paid because, IMO, he didn't expect the renewal cost or he found out he couldn't transfer it.

By no means should Moniker turn-away any great .tv premium names for TRAFFIC/Internext Expo auctions - they'll ultimately help increase the buzz around the shows and auctions regardless of the footnote.

Don, do you know if bidders will see this info elsewhere? Any other feedback for us here?
