Pool.com - How long does it take for them to send an activation link?

3 days ago I signed up at Pool.com and, since the moment I completed the whole process, I've been waiting for the activation link they should send to my email address. 2 days ago sent an email to [email protected] but haven't received anything. Has anyone ever experienced the same issue with them?

Have you checked your spam filter? I notice you use gmail, I also use that and by default on my account the "spam" link was hidden in the list on the left hand side. Apart from that, the delay could be put down to the Easter break?

Thanks for replying. Yes, I've checked the spam folder but found nothing. I think you're right, it might be due to the Easter break.

Anyway I wonder whether this has been a recurring issue.

Pool.com has the worst response time and poorest customer service in the industry. Just wait til you win a backorder and see how long it takes to actually get your name.

My biggest beef? A company that size doesn't have a toll free phone number, so if you do call you will pay to be put on hold forever.

Even I have a toll free phone number. Wake up Pool.

Just received their reply. They cancelled my account and suggested to re-sign up: I've just tried but the system doesn't accept my CC because the first CC pre-authorization is still active! So the question now is: how long does it take for the pre-auth to expire?
