Pool.com pushed the .eu domain names we bought through them to the company's own registrar, Namescount. They must be the worst the registrar I have ever used - and I'm tried over 50. Despite spending hours, I can't update the nameservers or domain name whois details.

They don't respond to customer support emails and, despite waiting an hour on the phone, they keep us waiting in the call waiting system for ever and we never get through to anyone.

After having a search in Google, countless other users are complaining about the same issues as us.

I will never use Pool or Namescout again. However, we need to be able to contact somebody to transfer our domains away as the interface is completely broken. What can we do?

I don't like them or their prices, but have used the successfully and make sure I transfer names out at least 30 days before the renewal date. If the domain uses EPP, you will have to email support to get the auth codes. Expect this to take up to a week to get a reply. They also takea while to authorize transfers as they ususally now transfer by default rather than them quick processing them.

Sorry, I don't know what the problem with the whos and namesevers is. I haven't had that problem myself, and don't have any names there right now to try anything.

BTW, they are also one of the worst for still showing names in your control panel for a year or more after you transfer out. My "code" for keeping track of domains no longer there is that "unlocked" domains are eithe in transfer status or already gone from there. Locked domains I probably have to consider as valid.
