Please assist! Massive end user deal

SpaceshipSpaceship
Watch
I am on the verge of completing a massive end user deal for a short domain - getting 58 times what I paid for it.

I have cash in Escrow OK but I am not trying to PUSH the domain to the new buyer through EuropeDomainsLLC. I have sent faxes and emails that are required for the change of ownership, signature etc. But they are taking ages...Is there anyone who can help me find a valid telephone number for these guys? If this takes too long, I am going to lose the deal.

If someone can help, I can return the favour (PM for details).

Fed.

New sales

And the sales just roll on... I cannot believe it... October is also going to be my month...

- I picked up Explosion.com & Explosion.net just a few weeks ago (from this forum) for $23k. Just sold these beauties for $34,000.

- Picked up a double premium LLL.com only 2 weeks ago for $7,200 and just flipped for $10,000

- Picked up Flu.info for the equivalent of $3,000 just last week. Just sold yesterday for $14,000

Are flips like these pretty common in the domain-flipping world? I have only been around since April/May 2008.

Just need to find a buyer for my ACNE.info
What do you think of website so far (in development):

Firstly, congratulations! Just a note - some of the best and most succesful online entrepreneurs I know never report sales/revenue and never speak too soon, particularly in an industry such as this. I, personally, have never reported anything to DNJournal even though I have had sales that are worthy of making the lists. There is a thin line between confidence and arrogance. Best of luck!

Thanks, note taken. As I mentioned, I have only been in the game for a few months. I guess I will learn to keep this excitment to myself.

Sorry, just re-read my post and realised it came out as quite offensive. No hard feelings intended - just don't get too over-excited as this is often what causes problems to arise! Seriously, though, I am very happy for you and your successes; I genuinely do hope you continue your run of good sales!

Pound...

I like it that Federer is reporting his successes like this.

He stated above that he was doing it to encourage the rest of us in these tough times....He is showing us that smart marketing - and good judgement of a name - can be profitable - even now. I applaud him for that.

Federer, Keep up the good work!!

MDD(.)com sale has been completed.

Sold to MDD(.)net. Who.is has been updated.

I actually purchased MDD(.)com from the original owner about 3 weeks ago for $13,500. Maybe you would like to call him to verify? (let me know).
Once the domain was in my account, I contacted 40 end users, starting with MDD(.)net.

Shortly after the GreatDomains Event, we agreed on a price and the sale was finalised yesterday.

Awesome post. I always thought contacting other websites by phone that might be interested in a domain I own might hurt, but I guess if you have a warm speaking tone, and aren't pushy it might actually help them feel reassured that you're not a scammer. Where as they might ignore an email you send.

Again Federer, even if the domain has been purchased, you should be letting bidders know that you've solicited endusers for it, not putting it on auction when it looks like no endusers are willing to bite. If a domainer on Sedo would have purchased MDD.com, you would have placed them once again at a much greater risk like you did with DMG.com and they should be made aware of that risk so they can do their own research and determine if they're prepared to accept the additional risk you've cause by soliciting endusers for the domain.

Let me sum it up for everyone...

This guy ONLY purchases names from auctions etc after he has contacted every possible end user ( tm holder ) etc for your domain or the domain in auction. Opening it up to " bad faith " and potential legal action. When he finds an end user willing to deal he than proceeds to buy the name at auction and flip it.

What he does is deceiving, fraud and opens us ALL up to having to potentially defend our names. So if he ever contacts you about a name or is in an auction with you, avoid him. He has been banned at dnf recently. Here is the link.

http://www.DNF/f557/warning-dmg-com-snapnames-auction-thread-340383.html

His success comes at the cost of others.

How anyone missed this statement I don't know, wake up people. THIS IS WRONG on so many levels.

I made a mistake with DMG - DO NOT jealously put all my sales in the same basket.

Federer made a mistake by contacting parties to gauge interest in a domain that was currently at auction. He understands the mistake.

I contact potential end users all the time, but only for domains I currently own. Then if something happens the risk is on me.

I am kind of surprised that some people are so quick to attack and act like they are perfect.

To me it is refreshing to see someone admit a mistake and be accountable for it.
He learned his lesson and I don't expect it to happen again.

I asked Federer to send me a list of his domains for sale... All I got via PM was "what type of domains are you interested in?"

Usually when someone's trying to flash their success a little too much, I call BS. ;)
