Connect to your hosting FTP using an ftp client (I use FileZilla) - they should have given you an FTP host, ftp username, and ftp password. Once you connect, you can simply drag and drop the file and it should appear online at www.yourdomain.com/resume.doc or w/e assuming you put it in the root.

Make sure you put it in the /www or /public_html folder, not just in the root folder. I don't know how godaddy is set up, but in apache, if it is in the root folder ( / ), it will not show up on a browser

In GoDaddy, it shows if we put em in the root folder. Thanks Jambler for replying.. Rep added.I used Microsoft Office Publisher to make a simple website. The website doesn't look much appealing tho...I was wondering if you guys would tell me any other good tools which I can try.

Thanks.

Dream weaver is the good one for you... I guess... and the major web developer use it too... at least in my country... IMO...

dreamweaver is great, but most people use it more for the code editing part of it.

there are tons of free templates floating on the internet, just do a google and i'm sure you'll hit the jackpot.
