This is a toughy. From an American perspective only, until recently the terms Haute Couture and just plain old Couture have had very limited potential due to hard french spellings and the limited use in the American vernacular; however, with the advent of the TV series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, the term Couture alone has become more popular, as evidenced by the 8K result in overture. Unfortunately, the complete term is substantially less attractive.

Nice name but not sure about its popularity here in France. When it was available for reg I have hesitated a while then chosen to reg PretaPorter.tv which is the other side of Haute-Couture. Mode.tv is already taken...

not for now ...but possible for the futur...the ".tv" is not popular in France and tv by adsl/video on demand, just start but dynamic...

National Tv in france :
only 6 channels by classic antenna
18 by tnt decoder (i think,dynamic too)
Adsl TV ,depend of internet operator
1 (real) operator pay per view (via Adsl) (canal +,recently)

edit :"hautecouture" is a good sound for a french (for quality,luxe,export...)
and i think "pretaporter" is bad...

oki ,(et salut ) ".TV" is for me(in my mind) for a video programs/data...
i think "haute couture" is more prestigious than "pretaporter"...,but indeed, low demand because the hight price...

But i'm not an expert for domain names...(and marketing..)
