I just went out for a smoke, when i noticed a truck towing hugeass billboard with "Photos For . Life"

Must say its a first advertisement of a new gTLD i saw.

Any oppinions, are gTLD coming closer to us?

That's pretty cool. The next couple of years it will be really interesting to see if more and more gtlds pop up like that.

I notice that I am getting about a 5 to 1 ratio of inquiries from non-US to US companies/individuals regarding the new gtlds I have registered. Maybe it is because non-US are used to using many different extensions like .com, .net, .org, but also their country ctld and neighboring country ctlds.

My predicton is that the non-US companies will lead with regards to the adoption of new gtlds and the US companies will be left out with less premium domains to choose from after the non-US companies acquire and will not want to sell their premium, short, catchy gtld that they acquired early on.
