Hey guys,

I live in Canada and therefore Escrow.com won't let me buy (and I guess sell) domains using paypal or credit card. I thought they allowed this but alas I was wrong.

Is there any other good escrow service that will allow paypal.

I just want to easily pay (take money from my account, stick it in paypal and pay). I really don't want to go to the bank every time I buy a domain.

Does Sedo allow this (I've heard they are slow though) or can you recommend any other reputable escrow service?

I'm really disappointed.

I have paid using credit card on escrow.com(living in India) few days back by choosing their premium payment option (but with a limit maximum of $5000). Before processing the payment they need to receive the scan copy of credit card for verification.

Alternatively you can choose Afternic escrow they allowed to pay using paypal option, but I ever tried.

Hmm that's interesting.

My problem with a CC is that the limit is relatively low so I can't bid on names that are very high which stinks at the moment. Gotta build up a good credit rating.

I suppose you need to find another ways to send payments. That is important to have few methods by the hand.

Try MiniEscrow.com.

I believe it's International.

I had one escrow deal through miniescrow and my experience was great. Fast and smooth, will use again. You can read the namepros thread tricolorro posted about for more testimonials. I've had my best escrow deal ever with miniescrow.com and apparently I'm not alone

Edited this message, I first thought tricolorro posted a link to the other namepros thread about miniescrow but he posted another link. The link to the other namepros thread is this: http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/661178-do-you-know-miniescrow-com.html

2 posts & they are bashing MiniEscrow? Suspicious if you ask me.

I agree.

The basher just recently joined and yes the two posts here are the only posts from him/her.

The basher also seems to have an agenda not just in bashing MiniEscrow but in promoting another service.

As I said before, it is prudent to be careful with this type of service but one should do some research before bashing.

But I suppose that would not be of any benefit to this basher.

Everyone is saying good things about miniescrow aside from a two post wonder hehehe

Read the two threads, you have positive comments from members with old accounts here and some with thousands of posts. There are already testimonials from respected members of this forum on the other thread, it's hilarious how the only guy who has something bad to say has 2 posts and advertises a competing service nobody ever heard about.

Gee I wonder who we should trust, the guy with 2 posts both of them bashing miniescrow and advertising an obscure competitor or everyone else?

Why do't you try EscrowDNS.com? I live in Canada and have used them for several transactions where I was the seller. I elected to be paid by Paypal which worked out fine. EscrowDNS was quick and efficient, and responded to emails very speedily.
