Escrow.com has been acquired by Freelancer.
Escrow.com offers a first class escrow service that offers stability and trust to the whole domain name industry. But like any system in the world there is always room for some improvement.

Here are 10 ways to improve escrow.com without breaking what is already there:

1. Allow separate payments for a single transaction, e.g. 2 wire transfers (not sure if this can be done now), 1 wire transfer with 1 credit card payment, etc.
2. Allow payments by more than one credit card and for sums of more than $5,000.
3. Allow sellers to edit the disbursement method after the transaction has began and allow using more than one bank account for a single transaction.
4. Add a bulk add domain name feature. (e.g. using .csv)
5. Allow for more than 30 domains per transaction.
6. Add a trackable support ticket system and allow sellers and buyers to leave messages to one another.
7. Allow sellers to add auth codes into the system for the buyer to use.
8. Allow other payment methods such as paypal.
9. Keep history of the disbursement methods for each transaction.
10. Offer a domain name escrow service at an extra fee. (At this time escrow.com is a funds escrow service only.)

Would be nice to be able to use escrow for smaller transactions for a low flat rate fee. Also their support needs revamping, the no business on weekends, taking extended holidays is ridiculous for a company dealing with mostly internet transactions. During US thanksgiving (not in my country or the sellers) we had an issue. It took escrow 4 days to reply to our support ticket.
