I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

MarkMonitor registered ms.now a couple of weeks ago :xf.wink:
MS stands for my source. It appears they also registered mysource.now around the same time. This is big. Imagine a news network fully on .now

Many will follow.

Update: This even turned NOW into an acronym, so the full name would be "My Source, News, Opinion, World"

They are splitting from NBC.

Thrilling to see a rebrand into .NOW featured along mainstream media.

Full, guaranteed visibility for the .NOW extension, imho.

They have not rebranded to .now. They could - but what they did so far is rebrand MSNBC to MS NOW, which means My Source News Opinion World. It is unclear what URL they will choose at this point

You're right, thank you.

MSnow.com owned by a company called MSNOW Corporation, which sells motorized snow vehicles while MS-now.com redirects to a different company (Marley Spoon, a meal delivery service)... Let's hope they will rebrand to .now ๐Ÿ˜€

When Registering "First Names".now would you consider a name that was very popular in the 80,s & 90,s but not so much now ? (Targeting People aged between 35-45 years now)

i would definitely avoid registering first names... It doesn't really align with the .now...IMO

Couldn't disagree more. The two go very well together.

Name.now domains align perfectly with CV type of sites/pages that contain, for example, up-to-date information on the said person. What is John up to now? Visit John.now to find out.

Email address format also flows very well. For example:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

"Email John now" is a complete, grammatically correct sentence; very few extensions can achieve that.

I think they are ideal for personal blogs and they seem to be selling fairly well, 5 or 6 first names sold so far out of XX .nows sold. Pity they were mostly at premium renewal price otherwise I'm sure better prices would be obtained . I have Dawn. now which is a dual purpose name:xf.wink:

They are not only selling well, many are hand registering their name and putting up their CV. And some are reg premium as well.

All live

Nathan.now
Chris.now
Lilith.now
Mitch.now
Alex.now
Doug.now

@Pusang Gala I learned long ago to remove my personal bias and watch what companies and people are doing (not what I think they should be doing). And it turns out people are buying their own name and putting up their own website on it.

I bought my first name on day 1 of launch. I loved the fit.

I'd go to Forebears.io and check popularity (overall #s with the name). That's your audience. Helps you make an informed decision

I have Maxwell and Magnus in .now. I'm definitely renewing these.

oh well, I stand corrected! It's interesting to see that first names .now sold for good money.... Guess my intuition about the TLD's meaning was off ๐Ÿ˜€....
