"The .NOW extension is relatively new, and we have limited insights into end-user sales at this stage. We believe it has potential, which is why we’ve included it in our Premium section. However, due to the current lack of significant end-user demand, we’re experimenting with different styles of names—primarily one-word options—to gauge traction with end users. As we gather more data and start identifying trends in names that resonate, the acceptance criteria may evolve.
At this time, we are being cautious about accepting too many .now names, as we want to avoid flooding the marketplace without seeing a corresponding increase in end-user adoption. In the meantime, if you’re submitting strong SLDs that align well with the extension and demonstrate good commercial adoption (e.g., relevance to industries with potential VC investment or development across other TLDs), your submissions are more likely to be accepted."
