I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

I have found her to be responsive, but a very determined woman who does it her way. Nothing wrong with that, as it's her company. My interactions with her do not suggest she'll be taking sellers suggestions in any serious way.

As for .ly and .gg - if they sell, they sell. From her perspective the names will sell. She's in touch with her buyers - so if they are asking for (or using) .ly and .gg - then I'm all for those TLDs being included. What is frustrating is when they get it wrong. BB sellers spent a lot of money and time to acquire and approve .me and then BB shut it down, citing no demand. Of course domaining is a tough biz - so it's understandable - just frustrating.
BB moves too slow for me and the little data they pass on to sellers is so weak.

The whole idea of adding .ai more than a year late is unsettling. Fast forward a year and I'l bet .gg and .ly will be on the chopping block just like .me.

Sadly, I don't think this is the reason. My highest rated Ai appraisals (7.5 with >$40k dollar amounts) are getting rejected) while lower appraised ones are getting approved. For example, today's approval was rated at 5.8.

I agree with @Velo.me - I think they pulled back on their decision to accept .now and have dramatically slowed down approvals. Getting one through today means they haven't completely stopped, but acceptance rates are pitiful. And as @doidomnola said - it was not one of my strongest names, they rejected those yesterday. The whole thing makes absolutely no sense - and although no one in this thread answered my question directly - it appears I am not alone in reduced approval rates for .now recently based on your comments.

I have only 3 left in pending acceptance and will not submit any more names until I hear/see approval rates increasing again. No point submitting to get 30% approval rates. I think the rejected tag on appraisals does more harm than good long term (since both wholesale and retail buyers can see it) and will only chance it when I can get back to my ~70% average approval rates.

Could be because every extension has quota and the .now listed domains exceeded other extensions numbers in a short period of time ! I am just guessing ..

Could be - But the guys here are saying that low tier .Now domains are getting approved while top ones getting rejected without any logic that makes sense.

If there is a quota, it wouldn't make sense it is for Standard listings... it'd be a premium only quota. Currently they have 238 .now premiums.

Skincare.now and Zinc.now approved today on third submission attempts

No rhyme or reason on what gets greenlighted.

You both inspired me to resubmit my 2 verbs that I think are great fits with .now. So we'll see if they get through this time around. They were denied ~2 weeks ago... seems soon and I was of the mind to wait some months... but if you're getting names through that quickly... i'll give it a go

I was under the impression that you need to wait some time before resubmitting a name. It’s great that they lift this restriction.

Seems priced fine to me. There has only been one sale so far - and $15k sales would be friggin awesome imo. If you peruse the premium prices - you will only see ~25% of the names priced higher than this.

Bold.Now - wow!
A name that sell its business service/product without even saying a word... Love it.

Are they denying better names and approving lesser names or is it all in the eye of the beholder? I was a little surprised when I received this e-mail:

Here's a list of domains that were approved:

Stronger.now
Liquidate.now
Incorporate.now
Survive.now

Not Approved: 2
Following domains were unfortunately not accepted in the Marketplace:

Fluent.now
Emigrate.Now

I feel terms like "ex-pat" exist because people emigrate pretty regularly. There's a number of blogs out there about people moving to other countries so I felt like emigrate was definitely a good one, especially if you can help people emigrate in 6 months versus 18 months.

I wouldn't have registered Survive.now if I didn't think it had possibilities but I'm surprised that they felt that was more premium than Fluent. If you are reading the landing page then you're already surviving. But when I ride the train at the Zurich airport and they give their spiel in 4 languages, the only thing I understand is "Zurich Duty Free" which is apparently the same in English, Swiss, French and Romansh. But to understand the rest I'll need to become fluent...now!

It could be they are looking at just the name and not the name with the extension. Survive is probably more desirable than fluent or emigrate. The "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" crowd probably doesn't even know what "emigrate" means.

Also, I don't recall where it was but somewhere on Atom's website I thought I saw that premium domains are chosen by gold and higher Atom members. I could have misread but I thought you were paid in points for choosing whether a name should be premium or not. Maybe this is something they did away with though because I also remember people on Namepros suggesting you could see how many yays and nays there were for a domain name when it was rejected. So like if 5 people said it was premium and 2 said no, then your name was approved.

I have also been able to request a free review of rejected domains in the past. I figured I would wait a bit before I requested reviews on the .now domains
