Non-Paying Sedo Members

As discussed in this thread, I'd like to encourage Namepros members to list the details of non-paying Sedo buyers. Hopefully if people begin to post buyers who fail to honour their contract, this will happen less often.

Rules:

- No street addresses or phone numbers.
- Username, City, State and country information only. We want to warn members about the non-payment problem, not have the non-payers harassed.

Didn't sedo implement some 'verification' system? Guess it doesn't work :D Maybe they should start charging a 10% 'leading bid' reserve which can be shared between sedo and seller in case buyer backs out.

Actually I don't think they do. Lots of deadbeat & fraud buyers around Sedo. Then later Sedo & the sellers pay the price "especially the sellers".

In a recent phone call with Sedo risk manager, I told him about some steps they can take to minimize the fraud payments & chargebacks rate but he didn't give any comments. It requires phone calls from Sedo which might cost them a bit but it will help them in the short & long term IMO.
