Great name generation site

I just found a really great web site for synonym-based name generation. Way better than Nameboy.com, which I've been using up until now. It's called DomainsBot.com. I'm kind of new at all this, so maybe you guys already know about it.

If you aren't already familiar, I wrote up a description of it in my blog you can read here.

Theres an old version (expireddomains.com) - the paid membership version of the site is very good. IMO the new domainsbot brings up far much more junk. One I found today:

www.pcnames.com

Domainsbot is free, though. And, you can remove synonyms that produce any junk. Plus, you'll always get junk while brainstorming. If it is too limiting, you could miss that one word that is valuable.

I find it extremely useful. I picked up some great names I didn't find with other programs.

No one program should be replied up anyway. I usually have a several up at once.

PCnames is free and the old version of DomainsBot (ExpiredDomains) does have a free section. Personally I find that PCnames and ExpiredDomains let me find good available domains faster than DomainsBot does, but maybe thats just me.

But isn't PCNames just for deleted domain names? Not sure about ExpriredDomains, but from the name I'd think the same is true. Domainsbot will list names that were never registered.

By the way, thanks for letting me know about PCNames, though. It is helpful and you are right that it is fast!

Is there a good listing of the best tools like these somewhere?

nice site

I like that site, it is very helpful... But I just found a domain name there that I loved, and it said it was available, and when I went to get it it was gone... oh well, I know that happens, it was a nice name though ... :(
