Hey everyone I have been a webmaster for a while, owned a couple of successful NSFW sites. Decided to get into acquiring domain recently but have a question.

When I buy a new domain how do I get traffic to it without linking it after parking it. Do I have to park it and submit the name to Google/Yahoo etc or is submitting them against the rules because it is not a site? How long does it take for the parked domains to start seeing some traffic?

Thanks all in advance for information, I appreciate it.

generally parked sites won't be listed by search engines... but you might get lucky

If they don't already get traffic, parking them won't do any good.

Marck so no way to monetize new domains with no traffic? How do you go about building it up since it has to be typed in traffic?

It's very difficult, if it were easy we'd all have portfolios of 1000+ domains or more. You can try the duplicate content route with WhyPark, which is basically the same as posting free articles with links back to the writer's site, but it's fully automatic and costs $100 for 100 domains. Or you can use 1Plus.

Other options are more involved, some parking may allow you to use AdWords to direct traffic, basically the same sorts of risks as developing, it costs time and money like a business.

Welcome to domaining.
