Question about a new site

I just bought a domain and found out the .org is a developed site. I am guessing that I am getting a lot of the traffic because i have the .com
My question is do you think I should just park this site and take the money from the clicks or maybe try to sell it to the company?

Has anyone tried this before? And what was your outcome?

Assuming everythings cool TM wise just park it and see what revenue you get. Later weigh how much money it could make over a years time from parking vs offer you can get for the name.

I would also suggest the same thing. Also by parking the page, who knows the owner of the .com may contact you some day with an offer. :wave:

I think first contact that company, ask them about their interest in .com, if they are interested, then sell them.
I have one more point here. But it would be OFFENSIVE.

If a company is having abcxyz.org and you are holding abcxyz.com, then make such a temporary website with all keywords so that search engines will show your website on 1st rank instead of .com, try to bring max to max traffic.
Now go to company and show this status, may be they will come to know the importance of .com TLD.
