New Tech Domain Regs: What Did You Get?

My theory is there is real money to be made for those that get to the new technology domains first. I'm not talking about TMed tech domains but generic new tech domains.

I recently suggested MT9 as the replacement for MP3 as a good starting place and of course alot of those are taken but what did you reg regarding new technologies and how do you think that reg will fare?

New tech may be one of the last bastions for good hand regs IMO.

Nice!!

A few hot ones I have I really like:

OL-EDS.COM
OL-ED.NET
OLEDHD.TV
OLEDHDTV.CA
OLEDHDTV.CN
OLEDHDTV.IN
GREENOLED.COM

Some nice names there :)

I'm sure GreenOLED.com will be a hit (would make a great name to develop and display the energy used by different OLED televisions when they come out) :)

Forgot I had registered OLED.cc awhile back, so I have 2 :lala:

I am at the moment very interested about tech domains registering and reading scientific researches :xf.love:

At the very beginning of my domain career I bought a lot of ubixxx and ubiquitousxxx domains (250 regs). I become inspired to those domains, when I read very interesting research material about "Ubiquitous Network Society", which was ordered by Finnish Communication Ministry's.

Afterward I have been thinking about that it would have be smart to spead the risk and register only the best domain names from the ubiquitous domain. Now, I am beging that in next 5 year ubixxx prefix will break through :hehe:

btw. how does for example "ubisex" domain name suit for a domain name from native english speaking point of view? Does "ubiqsex" suit better? As far as I know ubiquitous is pronounced u - biq - ui - tous, but pretty much all scientific researches use ubi -prefix.

That's not something I'm familiar with so I couldn't say. That's not a prefix I would see value in.

Got a few "Video Over IP" "vvoip" names which are now getting a bit of traffic, got the russian version of mt9 - see my sig. And blue ray disc in Chinese ่—ๅ…‰ๅ…‰็ขŸ.com - idn is a relatively new area that most are missing and with recent moves by icann look out for an explosion next year particularly in the asian regions.

I am mobi right now and don't recall specifics but I have umpchandheld.com and a few umpc other names. Thin and fast computing

Then I have social graph names in mainly .com format and I so hate web 2.0 term. Google supports social graphs and Facebook as well. Knowing my luck they will call web 3.0

Thirdly I have wimax names which isn't really new but will catch a huge wave and nano tech terms.

Good thread formed here.

Now I just wish I was a promgrammer and start forming mini sites and unique content lol.

I just registered TouchTesting.com - Apparently it's a new DNA technology.

Heard about it for the first time today when it was reported that JonBenet Ramsey's parents were cleared of suspicion because of it. Everything you touch leaves DNA and now they know how to use it.

Yep, tech names are cool but GeoTech names are cooler! When I was slightly interested in geo names I picked up some (dreaded) Dubai tech names:

dubai techs .com
dxb wifi .com
dic wifi .com

dxb is the airport code and Dubai Internet City is like the Silicon Valley of the state of Dubai. They want to eventually make the whole city run on a wifi network. UGH!

Also a few others for when Google & Adobe perfects the way the indexes flash:

flash indexing .com
indexing flash .com
and
javascript seo .com

I'm done speculating enough speculation for this season I think lol

When this technology came out, there were two ways of typing in internet - "Bluray" and 'Blueray". Unfortunately, I have choosen the worse on. I have blueraymobile.com and blueraymobiles.com :)

I beleive WiMAX will be the technology of the future. That's way I have some wimax-related domains:

wimaxindustry.com
wimaxcatalog.com
wimaxportal.com
all4wimax.com
wimaxarena.com
wimaxgazette.com
wimax.am
4garena.com
wimaxadvertisement.com

To back up myself I bought and some LTE-related domains (since LTE is other 4g technology):

ltearena.com
all4lte.com
tegadgets.com
lteportal.com
lte4u.com
ltesmartphones.com
ltetech.com

I have some Wimax and LTE related .info too, because I think that the technology issue needs some good .infos :)
