is they any new tv member who would like to say hello and let us know of there plans and why there into dot tv,

i know we get some member who just look and read,but it would be nice to know who you are...

there a lot of older members who are no longer posting,one of the reason i pop on here is to see if they have left a post

I've lurked for a while & finally registered a few months back...I have about 10 .TV's that I plan on developing...this is definitly the best forum for .TV that I have found.

i guess i'm "new" as i call in here from time to time, and still feel like i'm very much a .tv newbie...

i pick up .tv's if i find ones that excite me that i think can cover fees. two recent ones:

LearnEnglish.TV and

LearnGerman.TV

With video a great way to learn languages, i'm looking forward to developing at least the german one. i'll perhaps wait for a sale with the english one, the stats are great:

135,000 monthly searches for the term, nearly $2 clicks, and nice and generic, with affiliate language program sales and books also a possibility.

i love that there is such a dedicated .tv forum to chat about the whys and hows of this great extension

Thanks Jimbo & hullswingers...I started with .TV's a couple of years ago with the purchase of generic 2 word domains in order to diversify my domain portfolio..I guess like alot of people are doing with .ME(not I), I put my faith in .TV and .US(combined total of about 20 domains) which is about %10 of my total domains. So many people are hung up on the .com, that there are ALOT of good names(in less publically desired extensions) that are becoming availale everyday. Some of my .TV's would have cost me $xxxxx+ if they were .coms(if that makes sense). These types of generics are too good to pass up IMO, especially if you can find a way to network them together.

Sounds like a decent plan to combine Online learning with Video, due to the number of Affiliates & high commision for sign ups then this could work very well.
