Dynadot is now offering an account manager program to large portfolio holders. If you're a super bulk pricing customer they will probably get in touch with you soon if they haven't already.

Yep. I'd like to know more about this too. What do you mean by New Account Manager Program? A different control Panel? What are it's features

It's nothing special, but rather than dealing with faceless employees you have a direct contact with somebody dedicated to your needs, and hopefully expedited customer service.

I've not heard from Dynadot about this. You'd think they would be marketing this to more than just their superbulk customers.

I uh, just became a super bulk customer a while back and they did contact me and assigned me a rep. I agree that they should be doing this for others and not just larger customers. The rep said she would let me know about special promotions and deals, but there have not been any yet.

So what does this mean? Well, at this point I just have a rep I can contact if I have problems or questions. The value to me is unclear right now, but we will see.

I really like Dynadot at this point, but when I first starting using them more seriously I did contact them and asked for a direct contact I could use if I needed one and they never replied. I know it takes time and money to reach out to people, but if you want to go up against the other registrars I think you need to find a way to do that. And you need to find out what customers want and do your best to give them that. But if you can exceed expectations, it will make you more competitive.
